SUMMARY:
Responsible for the public relations initiatives within the organization. Creates, manages and implement PR campaigns with the goal of enriching the company’s position within the public eye. Maintains strong relationships with other media reps.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Plan and direct public relations programs designed to create and maintain a favourable public image for Ringier Nigeria Limited.
• Create company literature and other forms of communication
• Create marketing and promotional materials, both print and electronic.
• Promote Ringier products and services through public relations initiatives.
• Create and deliver press releases, media relation content, case studies, white papers, executive bios, corporate newsletter content and speaking proposals.
• Identify, develop and execute communications strategy for key contacts and customer referebnces.
• Conduct5 extensive media outreach.
• Prepare briefing materials.
• Prepare agendas and conduct research.
• Help to clarify the Organization’s point of view to the public

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Knowledge, Skills, Experience
• Computer literate/keyboard skills.
• At least 1-2 years working in a PR company or any media related outfit.
• Excellent telephone skills.
• High degree of accuracy.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritise issues and maintain a favourable Intellectual Demands. Must have minimum BSc/HND in any social science courses.
• Must be able to deal with technical product information.
• Ability to adapt procedures to a new and more effective way of working (in relation primarily to database management)
